V-shaped cut resulting in high-yield head removal.
CB-30
The CB 30 is a headcutting unit
designed for the removal of the head in front of the
collarbone. It utilizes an adjustable-angle circular
blade to cut down from the top of the fish through the
back bone, and a patent-pending linear curved blade
to cut in front of the collarbone following the natural
curve of the collarbone, separating the isthmus from
the head. Each fish is individually located by the gill plates and accurately positioned for a precise cut to
obtain extremely high yields.
A variety of species that are traditionally headed in
front of the collarbone can be processed with the CB
39 Headcutting Machine, including salmon, bonito and
various codfish.
